What is the difference between cancelling and isolating, just different degrees of protection from exterior noise?

cancelling usually has some kind of harware processing which records the outside world and effectively plays that in reverse to give the impression on no noise. isolating forms a seal to stop noise from entering the ear.

isolation is always better than noise cancelling for that price range.

Ultimate Ears Super.fi 3. They cost $99 bucks. Great noise isolation. Great sound. Very comfortable. Comes in black, white and clear. Pretty durable. You can buy a replacement cord for them if the cord breaks. 2 year warrenty.
