E4C vs. UE Super.Fi 5 Pro

Bottom line, which is better? The E4Cs or the UE 5 Pros?

UE super.fi 5 pros sounds /pairs better with iPod, but to me Shure e4c is a far better earphone. It is just when paired with iPod, shure e4c lacks bass.

I'd choose the UEs without a second thought, cheaper & better than the Shure e4cs.

If you have the 4th gen, get the super.fis, if you have the 5th gen, get the 4cs.

I have a 3rd gen and 5th gen... go with the UE's.

Haha... make up your mind everyone =P I have the 5th Gen. Couldn't putting the bass EQ on solve the E4C problem?

I like the superfi's sound--clear and smooth with punchy bass, but the wires are crap. I also own the e5c's, a step up from the e4c's but very similar in sound signature. The e5c's sound great and they're also built to last as are all shure products. Overall, I'm very pleased with the superfi's because they pair extremely well with my 4g ipod while the shure's go well with my sony md player. If you want a sound that emphasizes the mid range and has a slightly bright high end, go for the shures, but if you want something more balanced from low to high (smoother sound), then I'd go for the superfi's. Both are great phones and you couldn't lose with either one...

Get the ultimate ears super.fi 5 pro.. i havent tryed the e4c but i tryed the UE's and they have ver very good sound
