album information gets looked up, but does it do the same for singles?

well, sometimes my friends give me a CD with singles on it. i was just wondering, if i were to rip the CD. will iTunes look up the information for every individual song? Such as it does for an album, how it looks up the entire album information. Thanks in advance.

gracenote will look up info for every track, including for singles or EPs, as long as it can find it :)
