Hi

i'm going to buy a 20gb 4gen iPod off ebay.

is there anything i need to watch out for when buying a second hand iPod? Does it matter if it doesn't have a waranty, i doubt very much that ill get anything with much of a warranty left...

is there a certain amount of time that iPods arre supposed to work for?

thanks leo

Why don't you look at Apple refurbs first?

Because it's about the Xmas season now. Maybe after MacWorld San Francisco, we'll see a few refurbs. You'll get better deals after MWSF anyway.

It's between Jan 9 to 13.

1.) Two days after the launch of the 5G, 4G color prices dropped down from $300 to $275, and by mid-November, they were at $250.

Whenever Apple launches a new product, stores (and sometimes even Apple) want to push their old product to make room for the new product, which will inevitably have more demand.

2) And are you looking for a 4G Monochrome or a 4G Color?

Because you can find 4G Monochromes for around $180-$220 and 4G Colors for $230-$270.
