In November 2004 I bought a 60gb iPod and it stop working in July 2005 and Apple replaced it. Now the replacement has stopped working and was wondering if because this is not the original if it will still be under warranty of if the wearranty from the original iPod will apply. Anyone have any ideas on this.

you still have your warranty from the original purchase and i'm pretty sure it isn't extended with a replacement.

to be sure go here (http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/) and check for your self. enter your serial number in the box on the right side of the page

Thats the thing when I enter the serial number of the iPod its the replacemenst serial number and it comes up with no info found. So I'm unsure where I stand.

After speaking to Apple it seems that my iPod is still under warranty as it was only replaced in July. They picked it up this morning and hopefully I should get it back sometime in the next week or so.
