Well I've done some searching for this topic but haven't came up with any answers so I'm going to put this out to you my fellow iPoders in hopes that someone out there has an answer. Q. I have a 5G 60gb. I've just sync 9500 songs and should have roughly 14gb left. There is also photos and videos on it. Why does the iPod still show that I have 53.9gbs left? I've done a soft reset and connected it back up to iTunes and it still shows 53.9gbs. And I've played songs from different albums and albums that were just added. Can anyone give me the answer?

Hmmm...Are you looking at your library or your iPod section?

I wish I had that much space left on the laptop hd. iTunes is showing the right numbers but iPod is not.

That's weird. iTunes is usually accurate, and your iPod depends on iTunes to tell it how much space is left.

I've seen people who used EphPod and it says they have 18.5 GB left on a 20GB, when in all reality, it's completely full.

I am just using iTunes and the iPod. No special software.
