How did you personalise your ipod?

What phrase did you put to personalise your ipod, if you bought it thru Apple??

I am thinking what to put, I may just put my name but maybe more! I need some inspiration...:cool:

Does the personalisation look good or cheesy in real life????

just as a a matter of personal preference, i think they are overkill. Ipods are expensive little machines, its like getting a vanity license plate on a BMW...there's really no reason other than to satisfy some egotistical goal of defining uniqueness.

Unless of course you get it engraved with your name, and phone number type thing - in case the impossible, you lose it, and more impossible, someone feels like returning it.

I feel you are right. I have just ordered an ipod with no engraving.
Also I have to think about resale value if that ever happens.

I personalized my iPod, it simply says "DJ T-Slice". I did that because it is my first iPod. It's not a bad idea to personalize your iPod if you intend on keeping it, and to me its well worth keeping...sort of like an old pair of technics 1200 turntables....they just seem to go on forever!

Mine's just personalized with the nicks and scratches it's received through the travelling I've done with it.

I don't consider them blemishes, I consider them battle scars. That litlle iPod is a tough sunuvabiznatch.

I've just ordered a Pink iPod mini for my girlfriend's birthday, and I was trying to decide what to have engraved on it.
I was hoping to go for something like:

"..we are the music makers,
we are the dreamers of dreams..."

but that wouldn't fit! I then thought of just putting her name on it, and in the ended I opted for nothing at all! Saved myself ?15 I suppose!

i actually have the Tony Hawk sign iPod, even though i am not much of a fan of his, and i named the iPod miPodas soon as i got it 2 christmas' ago as a gift to me from me;)
