Hi,

I've owned the shure e3c's for nearly half a year and just recently the silivon inserts that go on the headphones keep coming off. This occurs after I've inserted the the earbuds into my ear and remove them from my ear. Anyone have any similar experiences?

Have you had the same sleeve all through that time?

If so, first of all YUCK!

Secondly, the soft sleeves absorb water and become bigger over time, which means a less secure fit with the phone. Get new ones.

For the Shure earphones, I've heard that the triple flange sleeves ($10, available at shurestore.com) fit the best and also isolate the best. I'd recommend those over the stock soft sleeves, unless they fit well.
