Skippin Song?

i have a song that is m4a and when i add it to itunes i tried to listen it to but it skipped to the next song then i tried to converted to mp3 but it was converted to a song with 0:00 duration

i at least want to listen it to but i don;t know how

any help

This sounds like a bad file.

One thing you might check: Look at the actual file in your iTunes library. (You can find this quickly by selecting the song in iTunes and selecting File > Show Song File, or command-R.) Make sure the file extension hasn't been truncated, for instance to ".m" or ".m4" or something like that. I don't know why, but recent versions of iTunes sometimes do this. In this case, fixing the file name should solve the problem.
