Ok, so i've been talking about these for so long and i got them for christmas.. but i tryed them and they sound horrible like they don't sound clear. And i've been hearing people say like that the bass isn't tat good and now I understand why. they have absolutly so bass at all.

Now to the part were people say "well you probily don't have the right seal, or a perfect seal", I got these suckers so far up my ear they will hit my eardrum if they go any farther. And then the idea of i should use the Yellow foam for them and it doesnt make any difference in the isolation ( they sux in isolation, i can hear the tv wen its on). accept for they might bump up the bass but thats it.

o yea and i have worn them all the ways possible.

Has anyone had this problem or mabe any sugestons..

I was thinking of the UE super.fi 5EB i hear better comments about them

I got a pair of e3g's (about 2 weeks ago), and they seem "fine". All the instruments/notes are very clear and distinct. Bass isn't exactly 'thumping" but seems okay to me.

Of course the only comparison I have is to the packaged Apple headphones. I'd really like to try out a pair of Sony EX's or a Shure e2c and esp. e3c to see the difference.

Dunno what advice to give but that I've found inserting the earphones "upside-down" (or rather where the wire is going up and then around the back of your ears when the phones are in the ear) allows me to set 'em in more easily-- as opposed to inserting them the regular way.

If they 'sux' in isolation, then you're clearly not getting a seal (should be obvious, no?). If you have a digital camera, then post up pix of you wearing it. (Just the ear, not the mug thx)

i looked on the shure website and i think i might be inserting them to deeply. becasue u can see the foam sleeve when the person inserts it but wenever i do it half of the earphone is in my ear.. i wonder it it would make a difference.. and also i'm going to order some new foam sleeves from shure i was wondering if i should just buy the triple flang sleeves??

Have you ever tried exchanging the earpieces (there are many different ones that come with most shure earphones) (normally 3 sizes)???
This strikes me as kinda odd cuz I just got the E3Cs 2 days ago and they sound great!
