Best Ipod For Powering UE super.fi 5EB?

Anyone know which generation ipod has the best headphone amp to power the UE super.fi 5EB ? I know the Nano is out of the quesiton, so any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

The nano has a great internal amp. Drives my Grado SR-60 better then my ipod mini does. The 5th generation has the best internal amp I think.

hmm thats weird i thought the mini had better amp output then the nano.

mini( i personaly use 5EB with mini and now iam also using with 5G) can play them loud which drive u crazy than any other ipod.

i had a feeling the mini had a great amp.

I though the nano made the SR-60 sound better. Maybe it was the equalizer making the SR-60 sound better. Oh well.

I use my super.fi 5EB with iPod video 5G 60GB on mostly Dance EQ with techno tracks. So far, it works like a charm.

thats what i listen to mostly also.. trance stuff.

Over on Head-Fi the consesus is that the output on the nano is better than the mini.
