Hello All!

I recently purchased a 60gb photo ipod. Which I'm delighted with, having previously owned an ipod mini.

Thing is now that I have 15x the storage capacity I was wondering if someone could help me figure out how to fill up my ipod without filling up the hard disk of my computer.

At the moment, I have about 6gb of music on my ipod but it is also still on my Hard disk.

Is there a way of having the music on my ipod without it being on my HDD but still being accessible through itunes, for burning and organising etc?

Thanks alot everyone, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mery Christmas period to all,

Alex

As far as I know, no, there isn't. I'm going to run into that same problem, eventually, I've got a 60GB iPod and a 50GB HDD on my PC! The only thing I can think of is get an external HDD and just keep all of your music on there. iTunes has to be able to find all of the music files in order for them to be transferred to your iPod, so it's gotta be on a fixed drive somewhere.
