Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. OK i just got my iPod and I'm already havin problems. Here's whats going on:

I was putting music in and after a certain time it would say

'Attempting to copy to the disk "IPOD" failed. The disk could not be read from or written to.'

And now I cant put any songs anymore. I've restarted my computer, I've restarted my iPod, I've reinstalled all the software, and I've even restored my iPod and it still keeps happening. I dont get it. I've even gone to the iPod support on the Apple site and it still didn't give me the answer. I need help please. If anyone has an answer I would very much appreciate the help.

Run a windows chkdsk on the POD (DO NOT auto fix bad clusters), if it doesn't pass the test smoothly, send it back.

The same thing happened to my 4G colour iPod.
I had to go through the Restore processs 3 times.

Perhaps, you can try the Restore process a few more times, as they say, might be third time lucky.

Good luck!
