Ipod's corrupted twice in a week.Under warranty?

Hello,

my ipod photo 40gig is 8 months old.

It has been ok up til now, but twice in the last week the hard disk has become corrupted (with the little sad face). I've restored my music library once already, and am about to do it again.

I expect some issues with gadgets, but crashing twice in one week is just not on. Is this replaceable under warranty (UK) or will it have to be shipped for repair/binned?

Well, took it into Regent Street store. Wasn't super hopeful as there was a small dent in the case where it had been dropped about 6 months previously.

And got a spanking new replacement! 40Gig Photo. Lovely. Didn't think they'd have any as it's been discontinued and secretly hoped for a free upgrade hee hee. But very happy.
