Help - Music CD transfer

I am trying to load a music cd onto my new iPod using iTunes.
When I try to send music to the iPod I receive the following error message:
"Some of the songs in iTunes music library, including the song..., were not copied to the iPod because they cannot be played on this iPod."
What am I doing wrong????

If you are trying to put them directly from a CD, you have to Convert them to MP3/AAC first. Go to the CD in iTunes, highlight them all right click and then select "Convert to MP3/AAC". That should do it.

I get this with a few of the songs in my Library usually stuff in wav format. I just re encode them as MP3 and its cool.
