Can i expect this every time?

Just got the Nano today for x-mas. Had everything set up ahead of time...installed itunes weeks ago and had all my songs set up the way i wanted them. Installation was a snap and the initial song transfer of 3.7 took a lot less longer than i thought. ? is... i took one song out of my library that i no longer wanted and when i plugged my ipod in to autoupdate the change...it resent EVERY SINGLE song. I had to wait 10 mins while it copied every song back onto the ipod. did i do something wrong? can i change it so it just removes the one song?

That shouldn't be happening. Could it be that you changed the way you sync the iPod with iTunes (from autosyncing to autosyncing only select playlists)?

If it keeps happening, try restoring the iPod, and see what happens.

thank you...but all i did was add one song and take one song away. is it better to make all the changes then attach the ipod or can it all be done while its attached/charging?
