I'm going to order a new iskin evo3 for my new video iPod. Right now they're offering the new Cerulean XLR earphones at 1/2 price with every new iskin evo 3 purchase. How are they? Good bass and response, good sound quality, comfort? I'm getting tired of my Apple earbuds.....

Based on the review here, they are okay, but nothing exceptional. Certainly better than the stock earbuds, though.

i have the same question. i'm buying the iskin duo for my nano and am considering these headphones since there being offered at 1/2 price. any other thoughts on them? i don't really have a problem with my stock headphones, so would these be that much better? or could anyone recommend a set of good reasonably priced headphones. i like the earbud/in ear types rather than the standard over the ear kind.

Anything is pretty much better than the stock earbuds, so I suppose they'd be worth the price. If you want to spend a fair amount, though, you might look into the $99 Shure E2c or the $179 Shure E3c. Many people also like the $149 Etymonic E6-i.

What about some Sony earbuds? I hear (no pun intended) that they're pretty good.

I ordered that package also. Seems like a good deal. I'll post my opinion on the earbuds when they arrive.

I recieved my 3rd iSkin Duo last week (I'm too indecisive when it comes in so many colors). Anyways, I ordered a pair of the black and grey ones, to go with my black and red Duo. They feel great. I can hardly tell that they are even in my ear. I was pleased with the stock earbuds that came with my nano, but the right side blew. These earphones sound better than the stock one, but there is not a huge difference. I only have two concerns with it. The first is that since it has an unevenly split cord, it seems to be like 1-2 inches shorter in length, than the stock earbuds. Secondly, it's wrapped very tightly in the box, so there are alot of kinks that I still need to get out. Overall though, I am very pleased with them. Now I just have to wait until iSkin comes out with their armband.
