I haven't actually got my ipod yet (still waiting for it to arrive) but im looking into getting a nice thin leather case with a flap to fold over the front when its in my pocket. Does anyone know a company that makes nice leather cases that will ship to the uk? All the ones on ebay are for 2G ipods.

check out incase they make the best leather one i have one that is a trifold and it pretty thin for it to fit my 5 gig

It sounds like you are describing the Marware CEO Classic. If you click "Reviews" there is a photo and product review there. I have no personal experience with that model, but I do own the Marware Convertible (and I have pretty mixed feelings about it).

Vaja makes a leather case with a flip cover, but I prefer the "puffy" case. In either instance, the quality of their leather is top notch.
You might also check out booqbags.com. The Booq nappa case is terrific.

check out the marware ceo classic, i did a review of it which is in the reviews section. I also have a review of the booq case, and i prefer the marware much more than the booq

I'd recommend the one from E&B Cases. I have 6 of their PDA cases... they are incredibly high quality, and just the right slim-ness. ;)

blimey, $22 shipping to get a vaja case delivered to the uk, i went with the Marware C.E.O. Classic instead, shipping was half the price, Thanks for your help. I just need my ipod to arrive now.

you want a leather flip case? then go with the extrememac deluxe case

it is nice because to hold the ipod in, it has a steel frame that holds it in without covering up the front. it also has a nice velcro flip. i have found a prob with it tho...
you are able to pry it out, but seriously, who would TRY to pull the ipod out, and you have to try to do so.

Look at the Piel Frama case, i think its pretty cool. you can find it under the gear guide on this website.

Their prices are good and the leather and craftsmanship is usually spectacular. I plan on getting the 3G case for my iPod, to match my Clie case. :)
(I don't work for Covertec, I just think they make great stuff)

i have the extrememac deluxe leather ipod case and this has to be the BEST leather case on the market...It has a very sleek design all the while without making th iPod too bulky...I love this case...i get 100% protection from it (thanks to the leather flap) and no scratches on my iPod. There are so many cool looking cases out there but i think i am going to stick to this one in the long run.
