To make a long story short, my er-6i's ended up in the washing machine, and went through a full cycle. I tried them out, and I still get sound, but it is severely distorted (much like when you blow out a set of normal speakers). Is there anything I can do to bring them back to life?

Looks like you have an excellent opportunity to upgrade to ER-4's!

While I certainly would not recommend washing your er6-i's, I am pleased to report that after a couple of days of "drying out", my little white friends seem to have made a complete recovery. As far as I can tell, there has been very little, if any, damage to the sound quality. I can hardly believe it, but I guess you get what you pay for!

Heh.... t'would be funny if the sound was better. i can only imagine............... "EVERYONE WASH THEIR ER-6I'S!!!"
