Sony MDR-E888

Just got a pair of these and I must admit that I have FINALLY found a pair of buds the sound better than the orignal iPOD stock buds. In fact, I'm looking to get another pair.

I bought the MDR-E888MP that comes with an adaptor for remote control use (and a short cord like the SP)......problem is, if I don't use the iPOD remote I can't use these headphones. So I'm currenlty looking for the MDR-E888LP on the net.

Question: How long is the cord on the LP as compared to the SP (I'm guessing the SP is similar to my MP set only with the standard 3.5mm plug)?

did your MDR-888s not come with an extension? My sony's did. if your in a jam, you can pick up a 3' stereo extension cable for pretty cheap at most electronic stores, (a little more at radio shack) :0
