More compression to get the signal to travel and batteries in the headphones... no thanks. I'll live with a cord.

What? Compress my music to make it less than perfect audiophile quality? No thanks, I'll just bring around my record player. There are people who would be willing to compromise for convenience.
I for one, would love it if I could ditch the headphone cord, but it's not a make-or-break thing.
