All:
We're opening our new iPod this Chistmas and we're currently tagging our collections of MP3s on three computers (her home computer, my home computer, and my laptop at work - all Windows).
I've been using iTunes play MP3s while I'm working, tagging and rating them as I go along. While I know the album & genre tags are written in the MP3 files and will travel with the files when I import them into the "master" computer, the ratings and playlists won't because they are contained in the XML file.
Has anyone ever developed a script that can read the ratings & playlists in an iTunes XML file and write them into another computer's iTunes XML file where the title & artist tages match?
