I've got a 5GB iPod, which I bought in August last year. It has one year of Apple warranty.
Anyway, today I was listening to a tune and I pressed the ">>" (next) button. For some reason, it got stuck and it won't seem to come out. My iPod still works fine, but whenever I even touch that button slightly it will go to the next track. Plus, it doesn't make the clicking noise when I press it anymore (all the other buttons do).
I think that one of the "spring" type things has broken inside that button.
Do you think the warranty covers this? I was just using it normally, so it wasn't my fault. And will Apple be able to fix this, or will they send me a refurb unit (seems like a little extreme for such a small problem)?
