Hi folks,
I just purchased a new 40G Ipod and I have Windows 98. I tried following the suggestions of ibon but I cannot find the updater when I run my IPOD CD that came with my Ipod.
I am also trying to connect my IPOD to my computer by using USB2. I have also tried to load the drivers 'USB Mass Device' but they do not exist on my 98SE CD.
The only positive thing that has happened so far is that I bought the USB cable and it connects nicely to the charger and USB port at the same time...this allows me to recharge my Ipod when it is in the cradle.
BTW, it appears that my IPOD is already setup in Windows mode and is running 2.02 (because I loaded it at my friends house that was running XP).
I need help....
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
