Just got my Maclear Zip case for my 30 GB iPod. It sure is clear and thin. I just thought I'd leave my suggestions for the next version, which I'll definitely buy if some of them are implimented.
The major one is that the Zip case isn't exactly form fitting. The front and back are tight but the sides have to curve out to fit and the cutouts at the top, especially for the hold switch, aren't flush with the iPod. What I noticed, though, is that if you turn the case inside-out it fits much better and is even easier to get the iPod into the case. So my suggestion is to have the seams on the outside and make the whole thing hug the iPod better. I guess you'd need to make the seems less sharp by folding or molding them somehow. I wouldn't even mind of the whole case had straight edges rather than curved if it would make the sides of the case hug the iPod better.
I'd also extend the zipper on the right hand side all the way up rather than 1/3 of the way up as in the current version. I think this would make it much easier to put the iPod in and remove it.
I'd also like some dimples above and/or below the 4 buttons so they can be found by touch without activating them.
The only other suggestion I have is either remove the logo from the back entirely (my preference) or if you must include the logo, move it to the top, rather than the bottom, so it doesn't overlap with the serial number, etc. at the bottom.
Nice concept. This will definitely be the case I use when I want to slip my Pod in my pants pocket.
