I have noticed that if I have my Ipod connected to my Windows XP laptop through the USB 2.0 port, booting won't go past the first IBM logo... it hangs there FOREVER unless I pull the USB cable out - then it boots fine. This is a bit of a bummer that the PC can't boot (or reboot) with the Ipod connected...

Anyone else notice this problem?

Anyone have a solution (beyond disconnecting between boots)?

I've got the same problem on my PC at work, but i get an error message.
"Unable to boot from USB device."
When removing the Pod it works just fine

Ohh yeah.. I forgot.

To resolve my problem i changed my boot-order in BIOS setup, moved my "USB device" down so it tries to boot from disk first.

Now i can boot with my Pod connected ;)

Dang. Your mobo's support booting from a USB device? Sweet. What chipset and manufacturer?
