If you feel that way, sorry but when I went to that link, I found the download that solved all my problems. Take it or leave it.... your loss, not mine.

You should probably change the subject to: "If you have an Audigy card this will solve your problems".

Too bad you waited months for this...it's been in the old forums for ages.

Audigy cards alone are not up to snuff in terms of firewire (non-compliant) and add the VIA chipset bug to that it makes for a nightmare of problem.

It doesn't say anything there about the Audigy in regards to firewire. I guess I'll find out for myself in a couple of weeks, but whats the big deal with it? I know it runs the digital camera ok, so I dunno.

I am a new person on the forums, I saw that people were having problems with Itunes and firewire. I have been having those problrms for weeks now. When I uploaded the patch at http://www.georgebreese.com/net/software/#PCI
, I nwvwe had a problem. Most of the time, it is a VIA latency driver so downloading the driver is the best thing possible.
