I used to own a PC and made the switch. I've had no problems with my G5 until the day I tried to get my music on it. My ipod is disc enabled and formatted for windows. I used senuti to copy all my music to my new Mac. By checking the folders in the finder I see that I have 29.33GB of music which matches what my ipod is telling me.

Where I'm having a problem is importing the music to my itunes library. When I drag my itunes music folder (where senuti copys the music files by default) itunes starts compiling a list of the songs, however when it gets finished only about 108 songs end up in my itunes.

I've also tried manually adding songs and when I drag and drop they just don't show up. I've tried double clicking tunes and they don't play in itunes. What is going on here? I've restarted, reinstalled and re-copied with nothing working.

The times that I have re-copied--everytime a different number of songs is available for play in itunes. The senuti support area has been of little help so I thought I'd leave it to the experts over here. Thanks for any help offered.

Not sure why you are having so much trouble but maybe try a different program to pull the songs off the ipod. I have heard podutil is a good one.

Also, have you authorized iTunes to play any purchased iTMS music, and is any of the music that won't import iTMS songs?

itunes doesn't seem to descriminate what it will and what it won't import as far as certain music being copywrited.

I said forget senuti and I'm trying podutil and beside being slower and the annoying popups I've been having success importing the songs that have copied to itunes. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
