urgent help needed

hi all i wonder if there is anybody out there that can help. my ipod seems to be playing up. left my ipod on the docking station to charge when i went to use it a couple of days later it has went back to the setup menu where you have to pick the language and set up all your settings again such as genres, artists etc etc. can anyone it is upto date and i even reset it all and wiped all the songs and put them back on still no joy. Help.

can you please rephrase what you are asking? i'm not really sure what you are asking.

well i used the ipod updater and restored the ipod then put all my songs back on it. it still does it. That is when you leeve it for a few days it resets itseif. ie when you turn it on it asks which language then u have to set the ipod up as if it was brand new.(time, date, main menu functions such as artist playlists.)
