Hello folks.

I've been mainly a lurker here and i've always found the information here useful, so thanks everyone!

i'm trying to figure out the best way to connect my 4G iPod to my Civic's factory stereo. i've tried the FM transmitter route and have despised the poor quality.

i'm looking at either the Dension iceLink Plus or the Neo iON, both of which seem to be popular around here. i went to a best buy to ask about the iceLink, and a sales rep there actually argued against going for the iceLink, even though Best Buy sold them in their store. knowing best buy's sales "practices", i thought them not trying to sell me something was a little weird.

so i'm leaning towards the DiY route and installing the Neo iON. i've searched around here and haven't seen anyone complaining about the iceLink, but does anyone have any advice or experience with the iceLink and any problems that it has? and if i go the Neo iON route for my Civic, where's the best place to put the actual unit inside the center console, and where is the best place to string the Dock connection cable out of the console?

thanks for any help!

well, after some careful research, i narrowed the options down to the Neo iOn, the Peripheral iPod2Car, and the Blitzsafe M-Link1.

the Blitzsafe seems like the best (and cheapest) option, but it doesn't look like it's too flexible. Does anyone know if you can use the Blitzsafe M-Link1 DMX V.1 with other vehicles, say if I sell my current Civic? would it just be a matter of purchasing a different cable adapter between the Blitzsafe unit and the CD changer port?
