Hi,
'm considering buying a Windows 20G ipod, but just want to know whether it's possible to transfer all my Minidisc to ipod? The minidics player/recorder I have is not a Net/MP3 one - just a normal player recorder. Any ideas?
Thanks

To do this, you would need to plug your minidisc to your sound card and record mp3s (or whatever) to your computer. Then only you can transfer them to your iPod. I'm not sure exactly what software you can use to do this though, so you would have to search for one on the web.
Good luck

There is one problem. It's an insult to the pod to put an ugly piece of crap like a minidisc player next to it.

i use soundforge from steinberg to accomplish this task, in fact its a bad ### prog to record mp3 or what ever from external line ins. adjust compress, track marks, basically do more than you will ever want to.

Pretty funny coming from a guy who connects his iPod to Windows.

i transfer things from cassette to my computer by just getting a basic rca cable and plugging it into the headphone jack of my out source (cassette player, md, etc.) and then into the mike jack of my computer. then i use musicmatch to record. i do not use musicmatch for anything else other than this. it's easy and works just fine.
the only problem is there is no automatic stopping so you need to watch it and manually stop the recording.
hope this helped.
