ipod not responding

I was using my ipod today and it all of a suden just stoped responding. It wont do anyting at all even when I plug it into the computer there is no visable response, the computer will not even recognize it. Could someone please help.

Hold down the Menu and Select buttons for a few seconds to reset the iPod. If this doesn't work, connect to A/C power and reset.
