Belkin Auto Kit ?, Skipping??

Well i just purchased the belkin autokit for my car figureing it was the only option i could use. Anyway some times my auto kit skipps, song plays stops, plays, stops, and the ipod is not pausing, and if i plug the jack into the phone jack on the ipod it plays normaly, and then into the auto kit it skips. I have yet to try this in another car. I also thought it could be the alternator, its a conscutive skip, like every 3 sec, my dad had a prob. like this in his porsche were the head would cut out every sec. and it was because of to much power neign pumped from the alternator. anyone have any ideas. I dunno about "skips", but I have an on and off issue with the auto kit dropping out sometimes. I can go for a while without it happen, and then it'll stop cutting out the audio in quick blips, I've found I can hear it doing it to without the ipod conected to the autokit, so I know it's not the ipod. I thought maybe I just had some kind of electrical noise issue, but now I'm not so sure after seeing some other people have issues. I haven't had any of the issues you describe though, so it may be 2 different issues. If you get the chance, try out the autokit and ipod in another car to see if it still does it. If you think it's the autokit, contact Belkin, I think it has a lifetime warranty, they'll cross-ship one to you.

will do, thanx, well i am glad to hear i am not the only one with problems, i might be getting a 3g 15gig soon so i can try with that as well
