I am very proud of the install I did on my 2005 BMW 545i (will post pics soon). I did the install about two months ago to use with my 4g Photo. I chose the Monster iCarcharger to power it (connected directly into the iPod dock). It works great. Favorite feature...when I turn the car off, the iPod pauses and eventually powers down. LOVE this feature.
Now, here's the problem. I bought the 5g Video and universal dock and connected it to the existing setup. For some reason, it doesnt pause/power off when the I turn the car off. It just continues to play. So Ive allowed my iPod to play over nght several times. Sucks...
Any ideas? I cant figure out why it would be any different and now, what can I do to fix it. I really like it to turn off on its own...
