I just went to Lajo's site and the shippng seems to be $34.50. It was $5.00 last year. Is it really that high or was there a mistake with my shopping cart?

Last year I paid $5 shipping on this site and now its $34.50. Is that right or was there an error with my cart?

Don't cross post. Try to keep it to one forum. Shipping has gone up because of gas

Going up by 600% times? That's crazy.

Maybe they changed their policies I don't know you would have to ask them yourself.

Well consider where you live. Is it a european compnay shipping to the U.S.? Or vice versa?

I was curious so I added something to my cart and then fiddled with the countries.
US has to pay 34.50 for shipping. Perhaps because they use DHL and last year they did not? And it appears to be the same for each country. SHipping, however is free on thigns 50 dollars and up but I see your frustration... considering a 5G skin is 7.50....

EDIT: Ahhhh, here's your answer, found it on the "?" link on their page

Smaller orders of 9 or less are shipped from Hong Kong by Air Mail they will normally take 5 to 10 days to arrive. If your order does not arrive in 15 days please email us.

I have emailed them and am awaiting a reply. $34.50 is the same for any country - I tried USA and Ireland. Also, It doesn't change even when you only order a $8.00 case.

From what I heard Lajo is shippping all his orders by DHL in the run up to Christmas because HK mail is kinda dodgy. Thats why you have to pay more. I expect after Christmas they'll return to the $5 price. Bit lame really especially if you don't care whether you get the stuff by Christmas. I suppose if you fill your cart to $50 though then you get $35 extra stuff.

and incur a big customs charge as using dhl he puts the actual value on. So $50 gets you a lot of skins, and in the UK, a £20 charge for DHL and customs

sorry if this is the wrong thread, but does anyone have an e-mail address for lajo that actually works. i've tried three or four different ones and they all get bounced back.

i'm somehow on his distribution list and i'm sick of getting all the spam from him about winning a free ipod or skin or whatever. i want off but for the life of me cannot get in touch with him.

help?

yrstruly.

I rec'd an auto reply to my shipping question:

FREE DHL Shipping on orders $50.00 and over
We give Free DHL on all customer orders $50.00 and over.
Orders under $50.00 will be subject to a flat DHL international rate.
Shortly after you pay for your order we will send you your DHL tracking number.
With this tracking number you can go to DHL and track your package.
Do not worry if your tracking number does not show the day we send it to you. Sometimes it shows the day after.
Please contact us if your order does not show 2 days after we send you your tracking number.
You should expect door to door delivery to anywhere in the world within 3 to 5 days.

Guess I will have to order $50 worth of skins

Not sure why his shipping prices are so high - I remember buying a pair of Sony EX70SL earphones from http://i-shopping4u.com/ who are based in Hong Kong. Shipping was free and they arrived within 7 days.
I have just checked http://i-shopping4u.com/ and they are still doing free shipping.

And "coolio" makes a good point - if your order comes into the UK be prepared to pay Import Duty and VAT on the goods. I have been hit several times recently on imported items - they are definately following up on stuff from outside the EU...
