charging the ipod on win ME with usb1

i know many people asked about charging problems for many times. people said 5G ipod can be charged in usb1, is it true?

the biggest problem is, can i charge the ipod in win ME with usb1? because the comp in my work place is like that......

I charge mine on a USB I.1 with WinME. The computer with Itunes on it is always unavailable at night, so I use the one in my basement. Everything seems OK.

if it has a USB port with power it will charge an ipod. A PS2 will charge an ipod.
