ipod video to alpine deck help.

Ok guys I have a video ipod and have spent countless hours on trying to get it set-up to my alpine deck its a cda-7875, I bought a blitz safe universal connector and hooked it all up then plugged the ipod in and nothing, i doubled checked the wiring and everything. The only thing i could think of was that the kit didn't say video it said nano, photo, and mini. So im thinking that may be it, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've installed the Blitzsafe unit in my dad's car, although he doesn't have an Alpine HU (just the stock HU), the Blitzsafe does work with his 4G colour and my 5G.

You don't get any sound through the speakers? Does it at least charge?

I dont get any sound through the speakers and it doesnt charge either.

either something isn't hooked up correctly or the adaptor is faulty. Go back and double check all your connections. Check with a DMM to make sure you are getting power where there should be power.

Turned out to be a defective blitz unit, I went to best buy and got another one and it works great thanks for the help anyways.
