I just bought a 2005 REnault Megane Hatchback. It comes w?th a factory f?tted cd player and radio with no AUX input. So I searched the internet on how to connect my ?pod to the car's sound system. I found couple of products one of wh?ch ?s the Dension Ice l?nk plus. Th?s product seem to work woth many factory f?tted car stereos that has a cd changer port at the back of the factory un?t.
This is where I need the help of someone who knows or who already has th?s set up. The dealer cla?ms that since the unit already has a cd player, it does not have a cd changer port. Yet I searched th?s site and found someone cla?m?ng that all cd-rad?o un?t post year 2000 has th?s connect?on. Can someone please tell me for sure ?f ?t does or not? I have downloaded the user manual for the DEns?on and it talk about us?ng the cd changer opt?on to start the ?pod once connected. I am gett?ng the car del?vered tomorrow (so I am not 100percent on th?s) but when I saw ?t at the dealer, I d?d not see a button to choose the cd changer. So ?f ?t does not have th?s button, how can all factory models have cd changer ports. I th?nk the rad?o says Tunerlist on it and the Dension site lists renault megane II with tunelist as a compatible car. But ? am not sure ?f m?ne a 'megane II' type
In short, I would l?ke to know ?f th?s un?t would be compat?ble w?th dens?on. If some can help me but cannot say for sure w?thout see?ng what the unit looks like than I can send a photo
