I got a Griffin Roadtrip, for my 3G. Came home read the review and almost took it right back, but decided in the end to try it out. The review here is spot on. In the end though, the thing that is killing me is the sound level. It is too quiet. About 60% of what I can normally get out of my car stereo. I do have a cassette deck and a cassette adapter and if I use that it is as loud as you can stand. I can use both at the same time, but that's stupid so I'm going to try and return it but first I thought I'd ask if there is a way around this sound level being so low?
I've tried with sound check on and off and various frequencies and such.

I was wondering if anyone has found a fix to this problem. So far I'm quite happy with the RoadTrip. I have a little hiss/static here and there but it's really only noticeable when there is silence between songs. It does need to be louder though. Any ideas?
