The book was very good. I hope the film turns out to be as good, but they rarely do, in my experience.

Sorry if I upset you cate, but that movie came out a LONG time ago. I think it was '97 or so and from what I heard it was very good. (I know I haven't seen it yet. I will when I get a chance.:p )

Not upset, no. I tend to be out of the loop on these things and don't see a lot of mainstream films, so it's perfectly OK. But was it as good as the book? :D
