The problem that I have with all of the reviews for in car solutions is that there soesn't seem to be any control group. I believe that the problem is not usually the unit that tranmits the music but the reciever. I have 4 cars in my family, 3 that i regularly drive. I also drive 2 trucks for my company on a daily routine. I bought a Monster Icarplay + and it works unbelievably well in my truck and the work vehicles. I have an older Volvo and only use a tape adapter in it. In my wife's Honda the Monster Icarplay + sounds like hell (lots of static and occasional hum) so i use an Itrip that was returned to the Microcenter store near here. I picked it up as an open item for $15. The Itrip sounds terrible in my truck so it stays in the Honda. Anyone else have any experiences like this?

Of course.

The receiver has alot to do with it. That's just the evil of FM transmitter/reciever.

Want something more reliable, gotta move to a direct connection and even that doesn't guarantee good sound. Nothing that a custom shop wouldn't be able to fix of course... it's just money$.
