Well, with the help of friendly types around the net, we got the necessary drivers loaded onto our non-internet based Win98SE machine, got the winamp plugin for ipod, and got music loaded.
Really neat :D .

Now, we want to put some images onto it. We tried just dragging and dropping onto the ipod drive, but that doesn't appear to work  !.

So, given that a special piece of software was needed for the ipod to see the music, I'm kind of assuming that something special is going to be needed for images. But I don't know what that something is  .

Anyone able to help? We'd really appreciate your help :p .

The Nano is really cool  and we hope to be able to use it every day...
