I just got an email on how to dust proof your eXo and other silicone cases. The person used the product Bounce in the sheet form and rubbed their eXo with it. I cannot test it because Bounce has not found its way into the China market. Give it a try and post your results here.

So far so good. It's been several hours since I tried the bounce sheet and I'm quite sure that there is not nearly as much dust/lint/dog hair as there usually is on the iSkin. I'd like to try an experiment but it's hard to compare since you don't see as much of the dust on an ice colored iSkin. Can someone use the bounce sheet on one iSkin and put another of the same color beside it out in the open and check them in a day or so to compare the difference. I'm using the asphalt one right now which is probably the best color since every little speck shows up on it.

The other thing I mentioned when I first tried it was that the bounce left a bit of a residue after use. It doesn't last long though and after a little while the case again feels perfectly normal. I'm curious if the anti-static cling properties will even work better after the bounce has been used several times. Will keep trying and post results.

...and with Bounce's fresh outdoor scent, you'll feel like its springtime all the time... :D

Well, after giving it a shot for a few days... I've found the bounce sheet really doesn't make much of a difference after all.. *shrug* At least not once the residue wears off and the iSkin feels normal again. Maybe the silicone just isn't accepting enough to add any anti-static properties... at least after production that is. Still determined to find something though.

In the meantime I find that a couple of sprays of windex on a paper towel works quick and effectively and doesn't get the ipod too wet.

I think the final solution with be some sort of anti cling additive, on the lighter side I think I should be looking at this dust cling property to create a silicone dust rags.

what kind of a residue do the bounce sheets leave behind?

Thanks for the tip Lajo!

Tried it out a few days ago, and to be honest, it is working quite well for me....

I used to leave my asphalt iskin out for 2-3 days at a time, when i would pick it up it would be covered in white/grey lint...

A few days ago, i wiped down my ipod with a sheet of bounce, washed it with warm soap and water, then once it dried, wiped it down with another sheet of bounce and also a sheet of downy.

Working perfectly so far! It dosent keep all the lint off, but it truely is a great improvement! :)

You can just feel some kind of film, nothing major... but it doesn't last long. It did no harm and you can always just wash the iSkin with soapy water afterwards if you want. My iSkin is still perfect.
