Is there a dual plug out there for the iPod 5G?
My headphone jack is already taken up by the RCA Y cable which connects to my head unit.
I'd like another one for a remote so I'm not switching songs and driving at the same time.
Wouldn't want to get in an accident. =)
Thanks In Advance

There is no remote for the 5G unless you use one that connects to the Dock Connector.

Put another Y-cable on top of the existing one? :D
Seriously, what MadBob says.

OK, but I'm gonna assume they will eventually come out with one.
What do I do then?
Thanks

If they do come out with one which I don't think is likely your headphones would be able to plug into the remote like all the previous ones.

Correct me if I am wrong, but since the G5 doesn't have the power connector (the little slot next to the headphone), that means that future accessories for the G5 will HAVE to use the bottom connector...

You are 100% correct.
And on a side note, one thing most ipod owners don't realize is that just because there is no longer the "extra" port on the top of the ipod does not mean that all those old accessories will not work on the 5g. It just means you need to do a little custom work to get them to work properly. All the functions the top port gave access too are still available through the dock connector. All you have to do is buy the top jack assembly from a junk ipod, get a dock connector, connect them together via the correct pins and bam you can use all your 3rd and 4th gen accessories on your 5g. Just takes a little inguneity.
