I have the 4g Ipod 20gb model. I also have the iTrip, which I love btw, lol. Anyway.... I am looking to get a charger for my car and possibly a dock to hold it. Seeing that the Tunebase and the Flexdock are somewhat expensive, above 30, really looking to spend less than that, I figured my best bet would be to buy a regular corded charger from Compusa or something. They have them for like 10 bucks, either the firewire to car charger or a regular charger with its own cord. I guess my ? is, will getting one of these cheaper, lesser known brand chargers do nething harmful to my ipod? Will it ruin the battery somehow?

No one knows of a charger similar to the Flexdock or Tunebase for the regular 4g ipod that isnt more than 30 do they? I don't need the one with the FM transmitter... I just need the charger, and I liked the dock functionality. Compusa only has it for the mini... I can't really find it anywhere.

Thanks

A corded charger is not going to harm your ipod, just stay away from the cheap junk ones from hong kong on ebay. And no, I don't know of any dock based chargers for less than $30.
