Under my old screename, I had a member ranking of.. oh I dunno. I posted a lot, for a long time, then a lot less for a long time, dropping off about time many of the fine volunteers running the joint now started up to corral replies and such, from a more frequent presence in the earlier days of this site. Got my first ipod the first weekend they were available. Saw the influx of PC ipod users, including the very early adapters, and switchers to the loyal. I use a Mac, and that is nice too.

So my sig explains it reallly, if the sig works. I think I used to be known as Youasktoomuch, while at xsorbit. I didn't remember that until I reregistered for this new server under this new moniker. I do remember that xsorbit used to be case sensitive about the name, if logging in from another computer.

My original member name was a bit of a mouthful anyway really, but as a kneejerk response, it did refect my general antipathy towards password related forums that require registration (which ain't nearly so bad when cookies do the work in all subsequent visits) But gosh, I really hate having to think up a new password each time I visit a new site that needs one... for one thing, it locks me into visiting the site with the same browser each time for the convenience of cookies, or worse, actually having to remember my password, Pod forbid. But that is reactionary baggage that sticks with the old name I guess, and that name is no more. Soapbox off.

So heydey hey, anyone that remembers the relatively obscure as of late "Youasktoomuch", who is now going by the slightly more pod-ish "Thumbtwiddler."

I keep expecting to accidently run into TNTracy in real life, who I think is in the same town... I do see occasional public iPod use, but it is still a bit fancypants for these backwoods. Maybe if it came in a NASCAR colors you would see it more around here:D
