So obviously Belkin's Tunedok doesn't work for hard plastic cases, due to the arms wrapping around on the left and right. I want to use this in my car because it fits perfectly in my holster and it's right where I need it. The only problem is that I'd REALLY like to keep my 30gig 5G in a hard plastic case (such as the Agent18 Clickshield that I had with my photo).

I was thinking about cutting off the side parts and having the iPod stabilized by the suction cup and the bottom part you sit it in.
I'm just wondering if anyone has a way to keep my iPod in the plastic case while using the Tunedok. Please let me know about any way I could do this. Thanks
