Hi, I looked for your in yacht section on the forum but could not find it :)

seriously now, I have just ordered my first Yacht, and one of the things I want to get right is my ipod mount, I assume the best option would be to fit an ipod ready car stereo and run some sort of cable to the ipod,

any suggestions welcome.

Well heck, in a yatcht, I'd put an iMAC G5. Why bother with a tiny iPOD.

In a dinghy... well, I dunno really.

:) - its not that big, only 38ft - but it is a racing yacht, so weight is an issue, and it is going to have a car stereo

run it through the stereo with an auxilary cable (Y splitter), assuming you buy a new deck, it will most likely have an AUX input but if not there are adapters out there, i can help you find one if you need. but yeah my friend's boat has an auxilary input and the ipod sounds great, they have an amazing sound system on it.
