I was looking around for nano cases and accessories and ran across the sumajin nano loop. has anyone seen this yet?
I've been a fan of the oh-so-simple but useful sumajin smartwrap for a while now, so I hope this turns out to be quality as well.
... I guess I can't post links yet, but if you search for "sumajin" in google it will bring up their main page with it and their online store for colors. search for "sumajin nano loop" in google and the pages in japanese have real pics in them...

I thought this looked like a good case for my Nano too. So I bought the "clear" version.
Unfortunately I got "ipod fever" &, as we all know, the only cure is the purchase of a new ipod, so I now have the video- which I love.
If looks great- though I didn't take it out of it's package.
If you're interested, email. I tried to sell it on ebay this past week, but I guess it's not common enough. I offered it @ half off what I paid plus $4.00 for shipping...
Interested? Please email.

Gadgetfan, how did you feel about the quality of the Sumajin nano case?

Hi. I actually sold it to d-bear as I no longer had a use, but on visual examination it looked good. I also bought the zCover nano & found it to be a little lacking in "refinement". I especially liked thr ribs & the novel lanyard design.
I hope they come out w/ a 5g case as, again, my zCover isn't the greatest ever, but workable for the time being.

this Loop is rather nice. not a fan of the lanyard, because of the way it attached, but i didn't get it for the lanyard, i got it for a simple, secondary case and that's what is appears to be, a good secondary case (on the plus side, Sumajin was smart enough to recess the inside of the case, where the lanyard will sit).
it feels good in my hand...the back is thicker than the front, to accomodate the ribs, and recessed lanyard area, i assume, as are the top and sides. i'd say the thicker areas are pushing 2mm. the front is about 1mm, with the clickwheel being slightly thinner. wasn't a big fan of the included screen protector, but that's fine. i don't know what any screen protectors are like, so i'm just going to use some left-over vinyl.

I was thinking about getting this case, until I realized that the lanyard would not hold the nano upside down (the preferred position when looking at the screen when it's around your neck). The only silicone case I've seen that does this is the zCover, but I'm not impressed with it's reviews.
