Hey all,
Looking for that perfect pair of canal phones. I've decided against the Sonys (EX51/71/81) due to the ever declining build quality and questionable sound.
Now looking at the JVC HA(or P)-FX55 or the Panasonic RP-HJE50 (unless someone can suggest something better on a budget). I'd like opinions on the short cord w/ext vs long cord. I currently have a hard drive player but will likely get a flash based one soon to use with an armband for workout etc. Which of these designs would work best and why?
Secondly, my husband and I use a splitter to watch DVD's on our laptop when we travel. Because of this, I was wondering if the in-line vol control available on the US version of the JVC's would be worth considering? I've never had the in-canal phones so I don't know how they compare in "loudness" with other types of phones that he might use.
I'd appreciate your thoughts and opinions. Thanks in advance!
